Swimming in open water brings a different challenge from racing in a pool, and the CTA Open Water Swimming Championships give competitors the perfect opportunity to test their limits. Taking place on Saturday, 24 October 2026, the event offers distances ranging from 500m to 10km, with longer races open to swimmers aged 14 and over. It’s a full range of challenges in the waters of the Elgin Valley.
