Houw Hoek Zipline is a dual-cable zipline at Houw Hoek Hotel, just off the N2 about an hour from Cape Town and ten minutes from Grabouw. Two people ride at once, one on each of two parallel cables, so you fly side by side rather than waiting your turn at the bottom.
The whole visit takes about 30 minutes. We fit your harness and helmet, you cross the suspension bridge and walk a short path up to the launch point, then ride down over the hotel grounds. No fitness level needed, and children can usually go from around age 8.
R295 a person, including all safety gear and trained operators. You book a day rather than a time slot, so arrive any time between 09:00 and 17:00. There is a restaurant and coffee shop at the hotel for anyone not riding, and we run large groups regularly.
