FNB Wines2Whales 2025
The
FNB Wines2Whales was born out of the desire to create a world-class 3-day stage race in the Western Cape of South Africa. Since its inception in 2009, the three events—aptly named after the wines of the area—have become a must-do on the mountain bike calendar, attracting riders from across the country and the world.
The spirit of the FNB Wines2Whales is captured in one word:
gees—a truly South African phrase that can only be understood once experienced.
The Route
The race’s biggest drawcard is undoubtedly the route, perfected over the past 14 years. In 2025, the event will follow the traditional course, taking teams from the
wines of Lourensford to the
whales of Hermanus.
The route is packed with sections that both thrill and torment (yes,
hello Gantouw!). Riders can expect breathtaking views, exciting new trails, and the return of old favourites.
The Experience
The FNB Wines2Whales is more about the journey than the destination. No matter your inclinations or ambitions, you’re guaranteed a fun-filled, action-packed three days of riding alongside like-minded riders at the
2025 FNB Wines2Whales.
