The Winelands Cycling Club Outride takes you deep into the Elgin Valley and Grabouw Forest Trails, where compact Table Mountain Sandstone guarantees exceptional grip and smooth, fast rolling—rain or shine. These are the trails where local legends set their best winter Strava times!
🗺️ Route Options for Every Rider:
Choose your adventure with one of three scenic routes:
- 🌲 Short Route (~20 km): Flowing, forested, and perfect for a relaxed ride or family outing.
- 🍇 Medium Route (~35 km): : A satisfying blend of forest and vineyard singletrack.
- 🏞️ Long Route (~48 km): A true showcase of the best terrain in Grabouw and Oak Valley.
You’ll gain up to 260 m in elevation with sweeping views and thrilling descents—an intermediate ride with natural charm and technical highlights.
🚰 A surprise water point awaits after the 20 km mark on medium and long routes—you’ll have to ride to find out more!
