The Outdoor & Adventure Expo Grabouw is back! From 7 to 9 November 2025, the Elgin Grabouw Sports Club will once again host this celebration of all things outdoors, set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Eikenhoff Dam and the Hottentots-Holland Nature Reserve—just under an hour from Cape Town.
This isn’t a music festival, a flea market, or an agricultural show. It’s an authentic outdoor adventure experience, perfect for families, nature lovers, and anyone who loves fresh air and adventure. And yes, you can bring your dog on a leash!
The Experience
Visitors can explore everything from the latest caravans, trailers, and overlanding gear to hiking, kayaking, cycling, and e-bikes. Off-road enthusiasts will find 4x4s, auxiliary equipment, and all the gear needed for adventures in the wild. For 2025, a new Destinations & Adventure Center has been added, featuring leisure and holiday destinations, ziplines, eco-friendly quad bikes, hiking trails, and overlanding routes.
It’s not just about gear, either. Kids can enjoy dedicated play areas, while adults relax at food stalls or the beer tent. Non-motorised water sports on the dam add a splash of fun for all ages, and nearby independently operated 4×4 routes offer optional drive-outs for thrill-seekers.
The Venue
The Elgin Grabouw Sports Club is a spectacular location. Nestled between mountains and fynbos, with the tranquil dam at its center, it offers a stunning and relaxing day out. The views are as much a part of the experience as the exhibitors themselves. Past visitors have called it “the nicest venue ever,” “phenomenal,” and “remarkable”—and it’s easy to see why.

Tickets are available online at Ticketpro or at the gate. Prices vary:
- Friday: R80 (children under 7 free)
- Saturday & Sunday: R150 for adults, R80 for pensioners and children 7–18
- Children under 7: Free
Parking is free, and gate times are:
- Friday: 12:00 – 18:00
- Saturday: 08:00 – 18:00
- Sunday: 08:00 – 15:00
