Spring in the Elgin Grabouw Valley means blossoms, fresh mountain air, and one of the Western Cape’s most beloved MTB events—Tiletoria Bikes2Blossoms. On Saturday, 4 October 2025, riders will line up at the Elgin Grabouw Country Club for the 24th edition. The race unfolds among orchards, vineyards, and rolling countryside in the Cape Floral Kingdom.
đźš´ Routes for Every Rider
This year’s event features a range of routes designed for every skill level. The Long Route (55 km, 1268 m elevation) challenges fit riders with technical climbs, forest single tracks, and an exhilarating Oak Valley finish. The Medium Route (38 km, 936 m elevation) blends the best of the Elgin Valley and Grabouw Forest Trails, plus brand-new single track, ideal for strong intermediate riders. The Short Route (25 km, 584 m elevation) offers a fun but challenging ride for average riders. Younger cyclists can enjoy the Kiddies Ride (5 km), a guided trail designed for ages 6 to 12 under the supervision of experienced riders.

Tiletoria Bikes2Blossoms forms part of the Western Cape XCM Series. Competitors can race for points while exploring breathtaking trails. Riders must ensure they enter the correct distance for their age category.

Entries include well-stocked waterpoints from Peregrine Farm Stall and 32Gi. Families will love the kids’ zone powered by PURA. Finisher drinks from aQuellé, complimentary apples, and a vibey race village with food vendors all add to the experience. Every rider also receives a finisher’s medal, plus discounts on accommodation at Trail’s End Adventure Hotel.
